User Responsibilities
As a user of the ArhaFoodX platform, you agree to the following responsibilities:
- You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to use the Platform.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile updated.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable Indian laws and regulations.
- You shall not impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- You acknowledge that you are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Account Usage
Registration
To place orders on ArhaFoodX, you must create an account using a valid Indian mobile number or email address. Verification via OTP (One-Time Password) is mandatory. Each user is permitted to maintain only one active account.
Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. ArhaFoodX shall not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information. Notify us immediately at support@thefoodx.in if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if we detect fraudulent activity, violation of these terms, or behaviour that disrupts the Platform's operations or harms other users.
Orders & Cancellations
Placing Orders
When you place an order on ArhaFoodX, it constitutes an offer to purchase the selected items from the restaurant. The order is confirmed once the restaurant accepts it and payment is successfully processed. Prices displayed include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Order Modifications
Modifications to confirmed orders are subject to restaurant approval and may not always be possible once preparation has begun. We recommend reviewing your order carefully before confirming.
Cancellation Policy
Before restaurant accepts: Full refund, no cancellation fee
After restaurant accepts, before preparation: Partial refund (up to 80%)
After food preparation begins: No refund applicable
Repeated cancellations may result in temporary restrictions on your account. ArhaFoodX reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee to cover restaurant and delivery partner costs.

ArhaFoodX accepts the following payment methods:
Pricing
All prices on the Platform are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, packaging fees, and platform fees may be added to your order total. ArhaFoodX reserves the right to modify pricing at any time without prior notice.
Refund Policy
Refunds are processed based on the nature of the issue:
- Wrong or missing items: Full refund or replacement at our discretion
- Quality issues: Full or partial refund after verification with supporting evidence (photos)
- Late delivery beyond promised time: Delivery fee refund or promotional credit
- Payment failures: Auto-reversed within 5–7 business days
Refunds are typically credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Wallet credit refunds are processed instantly.
Delivery Policies
Delivery Areas
ArhaFoodX currently operates in select cities and localities across India. Delivery availability is determined by your location and the restaurant's delivery radius. The Platform will inform you if delivery is unavailable at your specified address.
Estimated Delivery Time
Estimated delivery times are displayed at the time of ordering and are calculated based on restaurant preparation time, distance, and current demand. These are estimates and may vary due to traffic conditions, weather, or high order volumes. ArhaFoodX shall not be held liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.
Delivery Instructions
You may provide specific delivery instructions (e.g., landmarks, gate codes) to assist our delivery partners. ArhaFoodX is not liable if delivery is delayed or fails due to incorrect address information or inaccessible delivery locations.
Contactless Delivery
ArhaFoodX offers contactless delivery as an option. When selected, the delivery partner will place the order at your doorstep and notify you via the app. You are responsible for collecting the order promptly.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities while using ArhaFoodX:
Using the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose
Creating multiple accounts or using fake identities to exploit promotions or offers
Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Platform's software
Harassing, abusing, or threatening delivery partners, restaurant staff, or other users
Posting false reviews, misleading ratings, or defamatory content
Using automated bots, scrapers, or tools to access or interact with the Platform
Liability Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- ArhaFoodX acts as an intermediary platform connecting users with restaurants and delivery partners. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the food prepared by restaurant partners.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform. Service may be affected by maintenance, upgrades, or factors beyond our control.
- ArhaFoodX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order in question.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by force majeure events including natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, or civil unrest.
If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, it is your responsibility to verify ingredient information directly with the restaurant before placing an order. ArhaFoodX is not liable for allergic reactions or dietary issues arising from restaurant-prepared food.
Termination
Termination by You
You may delete your ArhaFoodX account at any time through the app settings or by contacting our support team at support@thefoodx.in. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to legal retention requirements.
Termination by ArhaFoodX
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, without prior notice or liability, if:
- You breach any of these Terms of Service
- We detect fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious activity on your account
- Required by law, regulation, or court order
- We discontinue or materially modify the Platform
Effects of Termination
Upon termination:
- All pending orders may be cancelled and refunds processed as applicable
- Unused wallet credits, coupons, and promotional balances will be forfeited
- Your right to access and use the Platform ceases immediately
- Provisions that by their nature survive termination (e.g., liability limitations, dispute resolution) shall remain in effect
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of ArhaFoodX shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
